An opening title sequence for the fictional film,
"The Catcher in the Rye,” a story of a teenager
who is trapped in between the innocence of
childhood and the insecurities of adulthood.
The goal was to capture the timeless essence
& messages of teenage angest, isolation, and
fear of change through self-created imagery
that is reminenscent of the original novel.

An exploration in dynamic typography, I want to tell a story of a person going on a journey through life. My goal was to was to capture the energy, movement, and freedom of old-world traveling through rich textures, fast-paced animation, and dramatic tension. This project allowed me to strengthen not only my type skills, but simple character animations as well.

The first in a three game series that promoted the premiere of the new children’s game show. The mini-games, like the show, test the player’s memory & concentration skills. The game allowed me to, not only work with a team, but also the exciting opportunity to develop unique characters and gameplay scenarios.

Danny Phantom

Role: Concept, Design, Illustration, Animation in conjunction with Workinman Interactive.
Highly addictive interactive Flash game for the children's TV show, "Danny Phantom." Danny, who is half boy and half ghost, is going on a date and must get rid of the ghosts in the restaurant before his date looks up from her menu. If she catches Danny in ghost mode, the game will end. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled before the game could launch on nick.com.

The website challenged me to not only create an easy to update website that members could interact with and have a role in creating, but also to develop an accompanying typeface for their current identity and a new aesthetic that represented their community.

An educational site for design students, instructors, and professionals. It is used as a learning tool to understand how brands are related to color and the visual and emotional consequences. The site challenged me to create an identity that stood out from other strong identities as well as a chance to focus on information architecture and unique interface and navigation design.

Niagra Erie Regional Coalition Identity

The Regional Coalition is a non-profit group working for the betterment of Niagara and Erie counties in Western New York. For the new identity, I combined the two bodies of water that symbolize the counties as well as a bridge to show how they bridge the gap. Together, the symbols formed a giant "C" for coaliton. The client picked my identity package in their top four choices out of 25 other competiting students.

Buffalo CarShare was a new service-based company in Buffalo, New York that allowed members to rent cars while simultaneously providing environmental, financial, and social benefits. The project allowed me to focus on creating a visible and consistent signage and wayfinding system as well as a new identity to strengthen the brand.
